HISTORY
Redlands Community Church was organized as a church
in March 1982 under Rev. Andy Silman. Andy was assisted
in the work by Rev. John Leonard from 1984 through
1988. The church carried on its work and growth
at Redlands Jr. High until December 1988, when the
present facilities were completed. Pastor Mike Kennison
served from 1988 to 1998. Greg Thurston served from
1999 to 2001. Philip Strong served from 2002 to 2008. Paul K. Manuel is currently serving as pastor and we welcome the Manuel family to our congregation. |

GOVERNMENT
Our form of government is Presbyterian, which means
the rule is by qualified elders elected by the congregation.
Churches are represented at a higher regional court
called a presbytery, and presbyteries are represented
once a year at the national court, called The
General Assembly. |

PURPOSE
The purpose of our church is best summarized in
the commission of Christ, found in Matthew 28:19,
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and
the Holy Spirit, and teaching then to obey everything
I have commanded you. The programs and energy
of the church is geared towards moving men, women,
and children from unbelief, to belonging to the
family of God, to stable maturity in obeying Christ. |
